Today marks a milestone day for HaRT, the exciting launch of the SHiNE initiative! It was an exciting moment, bringing together representatives from six amazing organizations committed to supporting survivors of gender-based violence and to end human trafficking: Dwelling Places, EverFree, Hope for Justice, Rahab Uganda, Set Her Free, and UYDEL. Alongside IPA-Uganda and the University of Alabama, we will be collaborating for the next two years to bring Move with HaRT to 300 women and girls, and to generate rigorous evidence of program impact. Special thanks to Agnes Igoye --Uganda’s deputy national coordinator for the prevention of trafficking--for her inspiring closing remarks.
